About the Event
If you are already a perfect expression of the Divine, as original Tantra teaches, then what is the point of spiritual practice?
This community event seeks to introduce students to the core View on the nature of reality found in classical Tantra,* as well as its theory of practice. First we will discuss the meaning and significance of the nondual Tantrik view, then we will examine how spiritual practice works within that view. If we want our practice to be maximally effective, it is crucially important to understand the precise mechanisms by which spiritual practice produces results on the levels of body, mind, and spirit. This talk will summarize those mechanisms, inviting practitioners to a deeper level of engagement in their spiritual lives. After the discussion, we will have some lively kīrtan!
